I would like to add my voice to those welcoming this
topic and the speakers.

For a very current incident regarding 'seditious art',
what's happened to Azlan McLennan's recent burnt flag
work is instructive:

and this reminds me, too, of Simon Barney's show
stopper at the recent Casula Powerhouse Sedition
Exhibition, a sandwich board bearing the Prime
Minister's grinning face, and the text:
